1.     Visit Innes National Park: This stunning park covers over 9,000 hectares of land and offers breathtaking coastal views, sand dunes, and abundant wildlife. Take a hike or a guided tour to explore all the park offers.

2.     Go fishing: With over 700km of coastline, the Yorke Peninsula is a fishing enthusiast's paradise. Cast a line from the shore, book a fishing charter, or head to one of the many jetties in the area. Or grab a bucket, net and rake and head to the Stansbury foreshore for a feed of the beautiful blue swimmer crabs.

3.     It figures this should be next – why not try some fresh seafood: The Yorke Peninsula is renowned for its fresh seafood, from oysters and prawns to fish and squid. Locally you can head to BA Fisheries, the Oyster Farm gates, or if you are not keen on preparing your own, why not make your way to The Dalrymple Hotel (mere steps away) for delicious scallops and oysters or the Port Vincent Kiosk, are famous for their fish and chips.

4.     And still on Seafood (there’s a theme, can you tell). Why not head out with Pacific Estate Oysters on their Deckie for a Day tour?  We have done it ourselves, and it is such a great, fun, super interesting, hands-on experience.  Plus, you get the most amazing feed of Oysters.

5.     Explore the Yorke Peninsula Art Trail: This self-guided trail features a collection of galleries, studios, and public art displays (especially the water towers on the Southern Yorke’s) showcasing the work of local artists. 7.     Take a drive to the top of the Yorkes and visit the Cornish mining towns on the Copper Coast: The Yorke Peninsula was once home to a thriving copper mining industry. Take a step back in time and visit the historic mining towns of Moonta, Wallaroo, and Kadina to learn about the area's rich mining history. And make sure you try one of the famous Cornish Pasties.

8.     Get in the water.  The Yorke Peninsula is home to some of the best surf beaches in South Australia. For surfers, there are great waves at spots like Chinaman's and Daly Heads. Or if you prefer your sports a little more tranquil, there are some amazing beaches to launch a kayak.  For divers, why not head out and explore the wrecks?

9.     Take a coastal drive: The Yorke Peninsula boasts some of the most scenic drives in South Australia. Take a leisurely drive along the coastline, stopping at beaches and towns. And along the way, there are also so many picturesque lighthouses to explore.
